Just like our favorite celebrities, we all have big events in our lives when we want to look and feel our best. Debbie Fowler was looking forward to weddings and holiday events last year when she turned to her friends at Face and Body Group in Marietta, GA for some help in getting Red Carpet Ready. “I love Judy, Connie and everyone at Face and Body Group. I look forward to going down there just to see them!,” said Debbie when we sat down to talk in December 2015. “My best friend’s son was getting married in November, and I was going to a holiday dinner with colleagues I hadn’t seen in over 4 years. I wanted to look my best.” To help Debbie reach her goals, the team at Face and Body Group put together a treatment plan that included
“I’ve known Judy for over 10 years and I’ve used her for weight-loss in the past. When she started offering EndyMed (at Face and Body Group), and I saw the before and after pictures - I wanted it!" said Debbie. “I love my results!” reports Debbie. “One day, I was just washing my face and I was amazed by how firm the skin is on my face and neck! Even my husband commented on it. It has lifted my neck so much and I expect even more after my last treatments.” Debbie went on to say that, “I had gone to a dermatologist to work on veins in my legs and he recommended getting work on my eyes because the eyelids were drooping. The procedure he did opened my eyes, but they were still hooded. He wanted me to come back to have my neck done, but now that I know I can use EndyMed, I won’t be going back for more surgery. If I had know before, maybe I could have avoided surgery altogether.” Debbie started her program in January 2015, and at the time of our conversation in December she had lost 25 pounds, and improved the texture and tightness of her skin. She plans to go on to have EndyMed RF skin tightening treatments on her stomach, legs and arms as she gets Red Carpet ready again for her niece’s wedding in May. When asked why she chose Face and Body Group, Debbie explains, “I love going there, because they make sure you feel beautiful every time you visit them!" Bottom line: Every patient in your practice has their own Red Carpet moment to prepare for and they all want to feel as beautiful as possible. Help them to look their best with EndyMed skin tightening and RF micro needling. Well, in case you haven’t noticed, its Red Carpet Season! We just had the Golden Globes on January 10th, and next will be the SAG Awards on January 30, BAFTA on February 14, with other awards in between, all leading up to the big event: The Oscars on February 23rd. It’s all very exciting and its fun to watch the celebs getting glammed up for their big moment. Unfortunately, most of us will only be watching the drama unfold on TV since we probably won’t be getting a ticket. That doesn’t mean we have to miss out on all the fun… Everyday, all over America, people are getting ready for their own big events: class reunions, graduations, weddings, anniversaries… you name it. These events might not make E! News™ but there is just as much excitement and anticipation. We are going to be featuring a couple stories of people who are getting red carpet ready. We will include pictures and a brief story of the treatments, diets and exercise programs they utilized to get ready for their big event. Big changes can happen, just in time for their big day! Bottom line: During this “Red Carpet Season”, consider reaching out to your patients to find out what big events they are getting ready for, and give them a chance to tell their story! Consider having a contest or a prize for the person who reaches their goal. Post pictures and share the experience. This can be a great way to engage with your patients on Facebook. Each patient story can inspire others to Rock their own Red Carpets!

Social media is the new word-of-mouth and is a resource that many consumers rely on for reviews and advice. It is also a great tool that your practice can use to deepen relationships with existing patients. It can be difficult to know how to get started with launching your practice online. According to Pew Research Center (http://www.pewinternet.org/2015/08/19/the-demographics-of-social-media-users/) about 72% of adult’s online use Facebook; choosing this social media platform is a good start. Here are 4 Cosmetic marketing ideas to stand out on Facebook: 1. Make sure to use the call-to-action button The call-to-action buttons link current and potential patients to relevant destinations that are on and off Facebook. Currently Facebook offers 7 call-to-action buttons to choose from and the most relevant options for a cosmetic practice include, “Book Now,” “Contact Us,” “Sign Up,” and “Watch Video.” Incorporating the call-to-action buttons into your Facebook marketing strategy will drive engagement. 2. Take advantage of custom Facebook Tabs You can use tools like Shortstack (hyperlink) and North Social (hyperlink) to create custom Facebook tabs for your brand pages. Growing your email list and also encouraging your patients to use a portal is important to your business’s success online. You can design an email opt-in tab so that patients can subscribe to newsletters without leaving Facebook. 3. Market to your local audience One of the most effective cosmetic practice marketing ideas is to target your local audience with social media advertising. Facebook advertising allows businesses to choose their specific audience based off of their clients demographic. You can even target your audience based on interest, consumer behavior, and online connections. 4. Promote important information Running Facebook ads is a hit or miss for most practices because often too much money is spent on minimal results. If your cosmetic practice is looking to generate more traffic you can use the Facebook promote post feature that allows you to get your message out to a bigger audience. Bottom Line – Social media is instrumental to marketing for your practice. Facebook is a great social channel to attract new patients while also deepening your relationship with current ones.
